Please join WRC on Sunday, February 23rd from 12:00 - 3:00 PM to learn to pilot our new Drone, a DJI Mavic 3 Pro!
Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP so I know how much food to order! We'll have an assortment of pizza and salad available with vegetarian options.
We will utilize our new Drone to live-stream regattas on our race course via YouTube. But in order to do so, it is cruicial that we have a team of well-trained volunteers who can help us pilot during regattas. We'll eventually have at least 2 drones in the air so we can keep races moving swifty and efficiently, and we'll need a number of volunteers who are trained and able to pilot them.
Live-stream drone footage is a huge value-add for our race course, and something that will distinguish South Watuppa Pond from other race course venues. I am…
