Learn To Row - Adults
For adults new to rowing, learn to row in just 3 weeks with WRC!
One of the most exciting parts of rowing is introducing new people to the sport! WRC is proud to offer 3 learn to row sessions in 2024.
WRC Learn To Row ("LTR") programs consist of 12 hours spread across 3 weeks of coaching dedicated to new rowers. Training is held on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8 - 10 AM. Attendance at 4 out of the 6 sessions is mandatory to "graduate" the program and be eligible to join our Masters program. Each session requires at least 4 sign-ups to run the program as usual, but in the event that we do not reach 4 sign-ups, we have a partnership agreement with our friends at New Bedford Rowing Center.
WRC and NBRC hold LTR programs simultaneously, and in the event that either program does not meet the minimum enrollment to run a full program, we will merge some of the sessions in order to create a better experience for all. This means that there may be some training sessions held in New Bedford, MA, and also NBRC LTR members may join us at WRC on occasion as well. NBRC is located on Popes island, New Bedford - approximately 20 minutes from WRC.
(Registration (click the link below) is done through Boathouse Connect, which we use for all of our club management.)
