Rowing at WRC

Youth Rowing

Student-athletes aged 12 and up, in grades 6-12 train for fun, fitness, and to compete in regattas. All youth programs are free. Age appropriate activities run year-round and promote social & emotional development, teamwork, leadership, STEM education, and competitive rowing. No rowing experience required & all abilities welcome!

Summer

Rowing

WRC "United We Row" Youth summer rowing programs are free, thanks to the United Way of Greater Fall River.

UWR Summer Sessions are open to students 12-years and older in grades 6 through 12.

There are 4 sessions in 2026:

  1. June 29 - July 3rd*

  2. July 6 - 17th

  3. July 20 - 31st

  4. August 3 - 14

For adults - whether you're looking for a fun, social way to exercise, get outside, & meet people, or you want to compete and race in regattas around New England (and beyond!), WRC has a seat in the boats for you.  Worry not, "Masters" is just the rowing terminology for rowers over the age of 27.  All skill levels are welcome.  New rowers should attend a "Learn To Row" course first.
