Juniors Rowing
Youth Rowing at WRC

High School Rowing

Students in grades 9-12 from are encouraged to register. 

 

Practice is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 - 9:00 am (7 - 8:30 am during winter)

 

Programs run year-round with on-the-water training in the fall, spring, & summer. Winter sessions include conditioning and mobility work, as well as time on the ergs.  Students can join any time, no experience required!  If you are interested to register for High School Rowing, please email Row@WatuppaRowingCenter.org to inquire about registration.

We observe all Fall River Public School holidays and vacations, as well as "snow day" cancellations.

Middle School Rowing - Stem to Stern

STEMTo Stern is a Stem and Rowing program for middle school youth aged 12 and up, in grades 6-8. WRC is proud to partner with Stem to Stern to offer this program; you can learn more about STS here

 

Practice is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Students can join any time, no experience required!  If you are interested to register for Middle School Rowing, please email Row@WatuppaRowingCenter.org to inquire about registration.

Fall 9.8 - 11.22 
          Fall break 11.24 - 11.30 (Thanksgiving wk) 
Prewinter 12.1 - 12.12 

WRC provides uniforms to borrow for all youth rowers who compete in regattas, however we encourage rowers to purchase and proudly wear WRC attire for training and also to school. Additional apparel can be purchased through our Rival Kit strorefront.
