Watuppa Rowing Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides opportunities for high school students in the Greater Fall River area to learn to row, race competitively, and improve post-secondary prospects for students.
We began our life as the Bay Coast Rowing Center in 2018 but have re-branded as the Watuppa Rowing Center to highlight our unique location.
Watuppa Rowing Center is conveniently located on the South Watuppa Pond in Fall River, Massachusetts. The pond consists of 1,550 acres of non-tidal water. We want to partner and share our water with all rowers, clubs, and schools in the area.
From teens to masters, military vets to para athletes, to those training for the highest level of competition, we are building an inclusive and exciting rowing center. We’re new…come grow with us!
Join WRC staff and other Greater Fall River area youth for UNITED WE ROW summer camp.
Youth in grades 7-12 are welcome to row in any or all of our 2 week sessions, starting July 5th.
Students will learn the basics of rowing and conditioning as well as participate in traditional camp activities.
This program is completely free of charge thanks to a grant from United Way of Greater Fall River.
